Where do we start?
Firstly, we are Alan & Karen, a husband and wife team! We live in Warrington, Cheshire. All our children but one, have flown the nest, but we do still have the cat – Alfie! We now also are blessed to have three gorgeous grandchildren too – two girls and a boy. We are also thrilled to be able to do filming full time as well and have just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in October 2018.
We are both creative and very passionate about our filming. We want to make sure your DVD gets the full attention to detail and care to produce a first rate film. We film with cinematic cameras which produce high definition footage, discrete sound recorders and no glaring lights, so you won’t realise you are being filmed the majority of the day. See the testimonials – we disappear into the background!
We have filmed over 300 weddings at some of the North West’s stunning locations, including Peckforton Castle, Heaton House Farm, Sandhole Oak Barn, Mitton Hall, Arley Hall, Capesthorne Hall, Thornton Manor, Crewe Hall, Colshaw Hall, West Tower, Nunsmere Hall, Mere Court, The Mere, Combermere Abbey, Adlington Hall, Rookery Hall, Statham Lodge, Tyn Dwr Hall, Owen House Wedding Barn, to name just a few.
Majority of our bookings come from referrals off past couples, which is the highest accolade. Although we have won numerous awards and are extremely proud that our past couples have voted for us and we are recognised within the wedding industry.
My work history is technical electrical engineer and I have always had a passion for film making (over 25yrs) ask the kids we have hundreds of hours of film – we filmed and edited our own wedding – as well as filming for friends and family. My wife has always been there for me, convincing me that when redundancy came along, I could make my hobby a successful business – thank the Lord she believed in me! We started the business from scratch with no idea it would grow into what it has and we are extremely proud of what we have achieved over the years. We constantly invest in our business both in time and equipment.
We have to say that if we’re not filming or editing, then you will find us reading and learning about the latest equipment, software etc.
We understand that planning a wedding is stressful enough so once you’ve picked your venue (and your photographer) have a serious think about having the day filmed. It isn’t scary at all being filmed – ask our couples! If you want any more information then pop over to our contact page (or Instagram/Facebook) and we will get back to you as soon as possible…. if we aren’t filming a wedding!
