Pam & Neil’s Wedding

Another new venue for us Wrenbury Hall, Nantwich which is set in the heart of the beautiful South Cheshire countryside, close to the historic market town of Nantwich.  The theme of Pam & Neil’s wedding (being set in October) was Autumn and boy did they capture that – it was stunning, down to every little detail, which the bride had got spot on – truly amazing.

Worked with a new photographer Alex Booth and her husband, always nice to meet new photographers, especially ones that are great to work with!

Pam looked amazing, and in true bride tradition was late arriving … from upstairs but hey I am sure Neil certainly thought she was worth the wait.

Ceremony went without a hitch and off we all went outside to the beautiful grounds, to capture some shots.

The wedding breakfast is held in a newer part of the Hall, which again Pam had worked her majic on, again down to all the tiny little details.  Name place settings on ‘leaves’   The main flowers were done by Beryl Cotton, Warrington and looked lovely.  The fantastic cake was by a lady called Paula Ponting of Nantwich – Stunnings Cakes - again just brilliant.

Heather & Russell’s Wedding

A beautiful start to the day on Saturday 5th October 2013 on arriving at the marvellous St Mary’s Church in Nantwich for the wedding of Heather & Russell.

We arrived slightly early, so much so, that once all equipment set up and tested, we had time for a brew and biscuits in their Church hall – and very nice too!

Groom arrived with best man David looking very dashing albeit slightly nervous, especially as people were now starting to stop their business and wait for the bride’s arrival as the Church is within the main Nantwich town centre.

The three bridesmaids arrived looking beautiful in royal blue dresses, with pink & white bouquets – colours looked amazing.  Then for the entrance everyone had been waiting for …. the bride.

Heather looked stunning, accompanied by her father in his kilt (a surprise for Heather) which just looked lovely together.

Ceremony went without any hitches and was very touching.  We had two readings one by Rev Wilson and one by Heather’s Godmother and a lovely choir, which always helps the hymns to sound fantastic.

Packed up and off over to Rookery Hall for the rest of the day’s celebrations.  What an amazing venue – a first again for us this year.  Wonderful grounds, so we managed to great outdoor shots.

Lovely speeches, again very moving and funny.  The wedding cake was superb, one main cake with lots of white chocolate and then cupcakes – yummmy!

Before we knew it, it was time for first dance.  Heather & Russell took to the floor with everyone watching.  Heather also grabbed up her father for a very emotional dance as well.

Then time to pack up and head home… another 2013 wedding filmed …. another lovely venue …. another lovely couple.

As they had wrote in their Order of Service

“As Autumn leaves turn their brilliant hue, Two hearts will join and say I do”

Katy & Tony

Nice local wedding last weekend.  Bridal Preps with Katy at her mum’s house in Warrington, then onto the Village Hotel, Whiston (Liverpool).

One of our calm brides, totally relaxed when we arrived as the sun was starting to shine, though the house was buzzing with excitment.  The beautiful flowers arrived, followed not long after by a stunning arrangement off the groom.  After filming we drove over to the Village Hotel, to film some groom shots.  Groom slightly more nervous than the bride, which seems to be happening this year!

Time as usual, flies by and we soon had arrival of the bridesmaids and lovely mum, followed closely by the sunning Katy and her dad.

Everything went to plan in the ceremony.  Paul playing the piano for the ceremony and reception, which was lovely – very talented guy.

Outside for photos and some walking shots with us.  There isn’t much grass area for our walking shots, but we managed to find a bit (along with a zebra crossing!) so got some great shots in the end.

Speeches, were short and sweet but very touching with the best man deciding to cut his short with nerves we think!

Whilst we were waiting for the evening to start, we managed to get some guest messages.  During the evening we were treated to a lovely sing-a-long off the bridesmaids and some friends.

The evening came and we were entertained by the wonderful John Norcott – highly recommended.  Cake cutting over, first dance done and it was time to pack away the equipment.

Roger & Nina

Another new venue for Roger & Nina’s wedding – the magnificent Soughton Hall near Mold.

We had previously done a ‘reckie’ the weekend before and just had to stay for lunch at the Stables Restaurant – definitely recommended!

Back to the wedding day!

The bride arrived on a horse and carriage looking beautiful, provided by Arclid Carriages.

We were upstairs for the wedding. Once inside the ceremony began – such a loving ceremony.  Outside for a few walking shots in the lovely grounds and on the swing – yes swing!

The room, well it looked amazing, only a small gathering of around 30.  The bride and groom had their own top table which was so romantic – well I think so anyway!

Speeches done, it was our turn to leave but can say all in all, another fantastic wedding and so very proud to be part of their special day.

Emily & Michael

What a great day we had at Emily & Michael’s wedding.

Creamfields was on at Daresbury and we had to negotiate Runcorn bridge, so set off rather earlier than normal for a 12 o’ clock wedding (9am!!!).  Got there just gone 9.30am, yes too early!!!  Slight detour and had a starbucks whilst we waited for the Church to open.  Lovely Methodist Church – modern design, surround by a housing estate, so plenty of neighbours to watch the joyous occasion!

The Church started filling up fast, friends, neighbours, family and of course fellow Church members.  Groom and party arrived all looking very daper!  Then the bridesmaids in fantastic sage green silk dresses – amazing.  Then the entrance we had all been waiting for – the bride!  Emily looked stunning – beaming from cheek to cheek, so relaxed, smiling and chatting to everyone.

Once inside the ceremony began – so relaxed, we had the choir, a band playing and singing that Emily plays with, a lovely minister – Jackie – our only concern, the groom was rather hot – fingers crossed and prayers answered, he didnt faint!

Few photos outside, then off to the wonderful Statham Lodge, Warrington.  The sun was shining and it was great as usual for the outside photos.  The room, well it looked amazing, not just the usual round tables either.  Round tables in the middle and then four long rectangle tables on the outside.  The flower decorations were stunning, simple and elegant.

Receiving Line, then onto the speeches.  Mother of the Bride, Father of the Groom, The Groom, The Bride and of course the two Best Men complete with projector and photo slide show!  Great and some lovely touching words spoken by all.

First Dance – again everything about today was done differently.  One thing that we loved was at the end of the first dance, the bridesmaid bouquets were given to the Grandmothers.  Then Emily and Michael invited all married couples on the dance floor.  Then at intervals, Emily announced if you had been married for less than 5 years, sit down, less than 10 years sit down, etc etc.  Until we came to two couples left with 50 years marriage.  The longest couple married by days, received Emily’s bouquet.  What a lovely, kind and thoughtful thing to do.

All in all, another fantastic wedding and so very proud to be part of their special day.

Emma & Mark’s Wedding

Great time at Emma & Mark’s wedding – a lovely church in Frankby on the Wirral and then over to Rowton Hall in Cheshire.

Emma looked stunning when she arrived and was piped in by a lovely Scottish Piper (despite the sudden shower!)  The ushers all kindly held umbrellas to get Emma in safe and dry!

Lovely ceremony, with some laughs – which sums up this fun loving couple.  Whilst signing the register, we were entertained by a lovely young girl on the piano – what a voice – she also sang again at Rownton Hall whilst the photographer was doing her shoots.

Ceremony over, off they went in a lovely white Bentley to Rowton Hall for the wedding breakfast.  The room looked amazing, tall glass vases on each with a massive ‘ball’ of beautiful summer flowers.  Sadly didnt get to spend as much time filming them due to other commitments they had but at least we got some footage of just the two of them.

Speeches were great, touching and funny – we had the bestman using a projector to show some photos and even the Chief Bridesmaid stood up and read out a lovely poem about her and the bride.

First Dance – Emma is a dance teacher so we did wonder if we would be given a rendition of Dirty Dancing or the like but sadly not but still a lovely first dance with the two of them thoroughly enjoying themselves and bringing on other people onto the floor.

Another late one for us but a lovely day with some great memories – watch this space for the highlight clip

Cheri & Martin’s Wedding

Had a brilliant time at Cheri & Martin’s wedding yesterday at the Village Hotel, Warrington, Cheshire.

The bride looked stunning in a one shoulder diamante wedding dress. The had choosen red as their main colour but their bouquets had a beautiful mixture of summer colours of Gerberas, with the groom and best man supporting Red Gerbera button holes. The six bridesmaids wore red strapless dresses, with the flower girl being in a lovely cream dress. The young page boy (1yr old) looked very dapper in his suit.

The wedding went perfectly, with a singer on hand to sing all the music for the ceremony – beautiful voice.

The weather on Saturday had been scorching but Sunday didnt look so promising, so we took the couple straight out for some personal shots straight away – just as well as we managed to get some filming done before the heavens opened.

The rest of the footage and photographs had to be done undercover but will still look as great. Later on the rain managed to stop so back outside for more filming and photographs.

Speeches – now nearly all speeches are good – some extremely funny, some very sad, all very moving. The Father of the Bride was quite emotional but got through it. The Groom was very good and came over very confident and madly in love with his new wife! The Best Man – the groom’s brother – was brilliant! Can’t wait to listen to them all again in editing.

The first dance was done slightly different – our bride did her first dance of the evening with her father – to My Cheri Amore – again very emotional. He inturn passed her hand to her new husband whilst they then did their first dance as Mr & Mrs.

All in all another great wedding, another new venue for us (even if it is only around the corner – amazing we have never filmed there before).
